It's been a long time waiting but at long last an Ericsson phone has been launched onto the Orange Network.
The Ericsson er100 has been classed by Orange as the top-of-the-range phone with a price-tag to match.

Undoubtedly the er100 is the smallest phone in the Orange range, being modelled on the Ericsson 337. The phone is compact and lightweight and is ideal for storing in a handbag or trouser pocket. The battery life is excellent and some truly innovative features will quickly gain the er100 some ardent fans.

One of the best aspects is the built-in clock. Apart from obviously telling the current time, this also incorporates an alarm clock, and the timer is put to very good use while on a call: An optional minute minder beeps every 60 seconds while on a call to warn you about high phone bills, the length of the current call is constantly displayed and if you miss a call this phone can actually tell you at what time you missed the call!
